As there are many questions arising about the swine flu, the regular flu and all of the vaccinations, a lot of us have been curious about something. Has anyone out there who HAD the swine flu or currently has the swine flu received a regular influenza vaccine prior to getting sick with the H1N1 virus? Thank you for your input. It is greatly appreciated.

I live in Florida and the company I work for sent someone to the hospital with swine flu symptoms and then when she brought in a doctors note stating that she was diagnosed with swine flu and that she was now safe to return to work they fired her for missing too many days. can they legally do this?

Over spring break (April 4-April 9) I went to New York City. Cases of the swine flu are now being recognized in the city and I am experiencing symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. I’m scared I’ve been exposed. How long after exposure to swine flu do symptoms take to generate?
My symptoms include sore throat, nasal congestion, fever, and very mild coughing. I don’t however have nausea or diarrhea, which is also stated as a symptom. Help! I’m scared. I live in Atlanta and I don’t want to be the one who brings swine flu to Georgia.

There are so few cases in France, Germany and even Spain compared to the US, UK and Canada. Do mainland European countries have different definitions of when people have contracted swine flu? Or do they just have better healthcare/hygiene? It seems like English-speaking countries are the worst hit.
