We are lucky to have the type of fast, up to the minute News Media that keeps us well informed of all outbreaks before they can even reach the 100′s. There is no doubt that the age of Internet news has sped up the news delivery process. But just because we know that swine flu has entered our country, and all the hospitals know as well, doesnt mean that these new diseases will just go away. 

Its quite obvioius that these types of airborne viruses will reach higher numbers , before they start to dwindle back down.
